      Josh Stewart phoned in to provide an update from the lca team.
      AMEX is working! No major problems to report. Registrations tracking only sightly below the target. Volunteers are under control.

      Remove ineligible canidates and send short-list to Rusty & Kim & Pia.

    Linux Australia AGM

    A date, time and place for the Linux Australia Annual General Meeting have been confirmed.

    The AGM will be held on Wednesday 18 January 2012 between 5:30pm and 6:30pm in the Caro theatre at in Ballarat.

    This means the advertised closing date for the election will not change.

    2012 Council Election

    Nominations for the 2012 Linux Australia Council have opened. All current members may nominate another member or themselves for all positions. Candidates require two nominations for any position before they can accept that nomination. If you want to stand in the election or know someone who wants to stand, please nominate!

    The more astute of you may have noticed from the meeting minutes that the Council is bringing the Rusty Wrench Award out of retirement. Someone has even already updated the Wikipedia page!
