linux.conf.au 2016 Geelong – LCA By the Bay – 1st to 5th February 2016

LCA By the Bay – linux.conf.au will be held in Geelong, Victoria, Australia in 2016, between 1st-5th February 2016 at Deakin University’s Waterfront Campus. linux.conf.au is the largest linux and open source conference in the Asia-Pacific region. Run annually since 1999, it brings together the Australian, New Zealand and international community for standout presentations, demonstrations and relationship building. It is a deeply technical conference and pre-emininent practitioners in the field, both professionals and hobbyists, are expected to attend. linux.conf.au attracts between 500 to 800 delegates annually. Open Source Developers’ Conference – Hobart 27th – 29th October 2015

The Open Source Developers’ Conference is a not-for-profit conference covering all aspects of Open Source Technology, from software and systems to open data. While OSDC was born in Melbourne 11 years ago, it has become an open source product in its own right, seeing it forked in countries including Malaysia, France and Taiwan. The Australian OSDC 2015 will be hosted for the first time in Tasmania, from October 27-29 at the Wrest Point Convention Centre in Hobart.
