Lightning Talks

(Subject to confirmation.)

LCA2004 premiered the very popular lightning or work-in-progress talk.

As a attendee, you (yes you!) have the opportunity to be able to give a brief presentation on any Linux-related project that you are currently working on. The time available will be divided up evenly between speakers (eg. 3-5 minutes each depending on the number of speakers). Presentation lengths will be strictly enforced, so come prepared. Using laptops or anything else that requires prior setting up will not be possible. You should give just a taste of the project so interested people can talk to you afterwards or look at your web site.

To participate in the lightning talk session you must prepare a poster describing your project. We'll build a list at the conference of people who wish to give talks.

Mark Fowler has some advice on how to give good lightning talks.
