Linux.conf.au 2003 | Accommodation
Linux.Conf.Au 2003 has arranged for Currie Hall, to be available for visitors to stay at during Linux.Conf.Au 2003. Currie Hall is a five minute stroll from the lecture theatres and seminar rooms where the conference will take place. This is the cheapest and closest accommodation to the venue.
The cost of the rooms is AU$45 per person per night before Decemer 1st 2002. Accommodation should be booked directly with Currie Hall using the booking form below. We've added an option to our registration process to allow your registration for the conference to notify Currie Hall of your proposed accommodation dates, if you so choose during the registration process.

Currie Hall is UWA's own Hall of Residence and the Conference Venue. Currie Hall is situated within the historic buildings and landscaped gardens of the University of Western Australia. With King's Park as our backyard, the attractions of the Swan River a stroll away and the City of Perth just five minutes drive.
Currie Hall is located on convenient bus routes to the City, the beach or Fremantle and if you have a car, there is ample free parking. The local shops, cafes, restaurants and bars, including those on the river foreshore, are a short walk away. The nightlife and clubs of Subiaco, Claremont and Leederville are only five minutes drive away.

Despite filling in the registration form for LCA with accommodation dates, you will still need to get the booking form and fill it out.
Before considering off-campus accmmodation, email Danni and let he know your requirements, as she may be able to find something suitable near the campus.
For off-campus accommodation, we suggest the following hotels:
The Kings and Mercure hotels are located in the city centre, with very easy access to all city shops and restaurants in Northbridge.
As normal, the major hotel chains such as the Hilton and Duxton are present in Perth.
From the Perth CBD there are public busses that run along the 3 kilometres from the city beside the Swan River toward the University. There is a bus stop at the front of the University, from where you can walk to the venues in the Arts and Physics Buildings.
