Rusty Wrench Nomination Form

Submissions for this form are closed.

After an absence of some years, Linux Australia will once again hand out its award for services to the free software and open source communities in Australia, New Zealand and Oceania at linux.conf.au 2012. This time though, the process will be slightly different.

Starting this year, we're asking for nominations from the free software and open source communities. The Linux Australia council will create a short-list, from which previous Rusty Wrench recipients will then choose the new recipient.

If you know someone whom you think should receive the Rusty Wrench at linux.conf.au 2012 in Ballarat, please fill out this form and let us know!

Eligibility

All Australian, New Zealand and Oceanian free software and open source community members may be nominated for the award. However, not all are eligible to receive the award:

  • Current Linux Australia council members are not eligible to receive the award.
  • Past receipients are not eligible to receive the award.
