General Acheivments
OLS/LCA Best speaker exchange
- Tridge has arranged with the Ottawa Linux Symposium for an exchange of best speakers. That is, the best speaker from OLS will be funded to come and speak at LCA, and the best speaker from LCA will be funded to go and talk at OLS. This should be great for both conferences!
Grants Scheme
- We've had four Grant Proposals since we started the scheme late April. Approved grants proposals so far include donations towards the GNOME project and linmagau. Don't feel shy to apply for your local OSS project!
Mailing Lists
- The LUG mailing list is set up so LUGs are now able to collaborate and discuss projects and issues on a committee level.
- Committee (813+ messages)
- Linux-aus (880+ messages)
- LUG list (new, and already 51+)
- Web-team (69+ messages)
- ALLIES Mailing list (est jan, 353+)

- 17th-18th - linux.conf.au 'Past & Present' meeting - We had several of the past LCA organisers trek down to visit the Adelaide team. This has become a tradition to pass on the accumulated knowledge of linux.conf.au. We had reps from LA, LCA2001, LCA2002, LCA2003 and of course Rusty, the linux.conf.au grandfather. Everything looks set for an excellent LCA2004
