These are all the suggested options for renaming Linux Australia as listed on the wiki by our members. Please rank the suggestions in order of preference, with your most preferred option ranked first. You do not need to rank all options and you are free to not rank the options that do not appeal to you. No preference will be recorded against the options that you do not rank.
The winners of this vote will be determined via the Borda Count algorithm. The code running this vote is availble for inspection at http://drupal.org/project/decisions. Note that this patch has been applied to ensure the recorded votes match the actual vote when the choices are ordered randomly.
All current Linux Australia members are able to participate in this vote.
Once the vote is done, if the winner is not "No name change", the council will attempt to reserve the top three names with the NSW Department of Fair Trading. We will then hold a run-off vote between these top three names. This vote will once again be optional preferential, meaning you can rank none, some or all of the suggested names in your order of preference. "No name change" will once again be an option.
