My client is currently seeking two linux administrators (one senior, one junior to mid level), this is great contract opportunity in a large telecommunications company.
Position/s Location: North Ryde.
Start Date: is as early as next week.
Contract Length: 3-6 months
Daily Rate: Depends on experience.
These positions would suit someone whose interests lie in open source software.
Being able to work and learn on your own is a requirement of these positions.
Skills wish list:
- 1-2 (4+ for senior) years Linux systems administration (preferably in redhat or debian)
- Experience in High Availability environments (LVS experience a plus)
- Experience with web servers(apache)
- Experience with db servers (postgresql,mysql)
- Experience with revision control software (cvs,svn etc)
- Scripting experience in perl,bash
- Experience within an ISP would be beneficial
- Clear written and spoken English
