Clustered Samba - not just a hack any more
Last year I talked about a piece of basic technology, CTDB, which forms the basis for
clustering Samba. This year clustered Samba is ready for production use. This talk will discuss who should be using clustered Samba, will demonstrate how to set it up, and will
show some performance test results. The builtin failover code will also be discussed, along with the event script system that allows you to cluster-enable other applications to work with the CTDB.
I will be doing this talk in conjunction with Ronnie Sahlberg (sahlberg@samba.org) who has been co-developing the clustered Samba code.
